    1. It’s literally right in between St. Thomas and St. John. Every boat and ferry that goes to either passes right by it. I am honestly surprised it hasn’t been sold yet and somebody hasn’t put a resort or hotel on it.

    2. Idk who owns the island but it should be sold with the proceeds going to the victims. Shit, sell all his stuff and give the money to them.

    3. Such eerie creepy vibes. Probably in retrospect knowing what happened there, but these rich people’s decor in general is so hospital-like to me.

Is that it for the above ground? Are there many more visible structures? Or was his pedo lair completely housed underground or something? The place looks creepy AF.

If only the walls could talk… Although it probably wouldn’t matter because the people in power already know what they have to say.

Such a strange building. It looks like a pillbox. Does anyone know the purpose of this building? Not many windows. I can’t tell what is boarded up be it windows or roll-up bay doors. So weird.

It could be quite beautiful. I don’t know why someone hasn’t filled to the brim with plumeria, and tropicals. I’d have them everywhere just shooting out color.

It needs a lot of flowering plants, shrubs, and trees. Even some Japanese trees might be cool, and unexpected.

    8. Looks pretty boring, there’s nothing really to do. No nice place to grill, no movie theater, no tennis or golf courts.

What are you supposed to do there with your rich influential friends, other than [ removed by reddit ]

    9. These pictures are pretty fascinating. It also seems a little underwhelming considering how rich he was. I mean yes, it’s a private island, and yes it’s probably expensive af to get materials there for construction; but it all looks kind of mid…

    10. Sad somewhere so pretty and calm was such a living nightmare and so many people could have stopped it. Burn the whole island down let the Earth have it back….or let some endangered animals have it…..so sad the horrors those babies went through…so many never left mentally or physically.

    11. Looks more like a prison island than an entertainment or relaxation or vacation island. Ugly. That first photo looks like a mausoleum! lol

    12. All the buildings there look like Kim kardashian designed them (and I don’t mean that as a compliment)

    13. Walk around with a cadaver dog. 🐕
Record the hits and plant flags at the locations.
I bet this would place would light up like a game a minesweeper.

    14. I wonder how many islands there are that are completely furnished like this that could just pop by and visit.

    15. Need to bring a methane detector out with you next time. Unless the acid got rid of all the evidence 🧐

I took a charter boat out to the island and snorkeled there several years ago shortly after the pandemic. Great place to snorkel at about 30 or 40 ft deep. The island is located off the coast of St. John, and despite what you think about the tropics, it’s actually a pretty dry climate. There were several other boats out there with dozens of people swimming and taking pictures. The main building still had paint, though it had been damaged in the recent hurricanes. The island itself had about a half dozen landscapers in golf carts driving around and performing various upkeep. There are several spots in the island where you could tell it went underground – large bay doors into the sides of a hill and things like that. The large doors in the building looked like they were painted on. I’m surprised that they were actually doors. Since everything on the outside can be easily viewed from the ocean, it makes a lot of sense that the island is riddled with underground tunnels, bunkers, rooms, and whatever else he had built.

    17. I’m not the kind of person who believe in ghosts and supernatural events. But I feel like that’s a place where you find actual demons.
I mean, besides the ones who used to “party” there.

I’m meaning kind of Doom shit.
